Stephen Petronio has initiated Bloodlines, a five-year project to honor a lineage of American postmodern dance masters from a family tree straddling the 20th and 21st centuries. Following last spring’s performance of Merce Cunningham’s RainForest (1968), Petronio presents Trisha Brown’s landmark Glacial Decoy (1979), her first dance for the proscenium stage, featuring Robert Rauschenberg’s iconic visual design and costumes.
The Company premiered Non Locomotor in April 2015 at The Joyce Theater.
