Film Screening of Are You Lonesome Tonight (Virtual and Open Air in Miami)
Stephen Petronio Company, is proud to announce a screening of Are You Lonesome Tonight (2020), featured in Miami Light Project’s ScreenDance Miami Festival 2021! Join us this weekend, whether virtually or in person!
ScreenDance Miami is an annual film festival celebrating the best of dance on film from around the world. This year’s official selections are being screened out of doors at venues in Miami, Florida including the North Beach Bandshell and the New World Center’s Projection Wall at Soundscape Park, and via online platforms.

Are You Lonesome Tonight (2020), choreographed and conceived by Stephen Petronio was filmed at the Petronio Residency Center in Round Top, NY. Co-directed by Petronio and Blake Martin, the dance film explores longing and intimacy when human connection is of utmost importance. The film features Lloyd Knight, guest artist from Martha Graham Dance Company, and Stephen Petronio Company member Nicholas Sciscione.
