The Company premiere of Tread (1970) by Merce Cunningham was performed April 11-13, 2019 at NYU Skirball in NYC on a program with Rudy Perez’s Coverage (1970), and Stephen Petronio’s world premiere of American Landscapes.

Tread was first performed by the Merce Cunningham Dance Company on January 5, 1970 at The Brooklyn Academy of Music in Brooklyn, New York.
