SPC PROJECTS: GHOSTOWN (2010)

Jonny Greenwood joined Radiohead while still at school. The band released their debut album “Pablo Honey” in 1993 featuring the worldwide hit single “Creep,” which director Tran Anh Hung used for his film “Cyclo.” They then released “Kid A” (2000), which won a Grammy award for Best Alternative Album and was ranked number one album of the decade by the Rolling Stone magazine in 2009. Their album “In Rainbows” (2007), entered the UK Album Chart and the U.S. Billboard 200 at number one, and won a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album. Jonny has been BBC Radio 3’s Composer in Residence since 2004. He also composed the score for Paul Thomas Anderson’s film, “There Will Be Blood” (2007) and won the award for Best Film Score in the Evening Standard British Film Awards, and the Ivor Novello Award for Best Original Film Score. He performed a selection of his new and old works with the London Contemporary Orchestra in 2014.
