The Hudson Valley Dance Festival returns this year for the first time since 2019 with two performances on October 8 at a 19th century warehouse on the banks of the Hudson River in Historic Catskill Point in Catskill, New York. Stephen Petronio Company is proud to present an excerpt from Bloom (2006) alongside Dorrance Dance, Limón Dance Company, and works from choreographers Abdul Latif, Jonathan Lee, Skyla Schreter, and Adam W. Weinert.
The annual festival is produced by and benefits Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The festival will help provide meals and medication, health care and hope to those living with HIV/AIDS, dealing with COVID-19 or facing other debilitating illnesses. Through its National Grants Program, Broadway Cares supports a safety net of services in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C., including 14 organizations in the Hudson Valley.
